The main goal is to analyze housing data and prepare strategies for the City Council to provide direction on the next steps.
The specific analysis of housing data is called a Housing Needs Analysis (HNA). It projects supply and demand for housing in 2040 based on US Census and market data, along with a review of Tualatin's land and land use regulations for new growth (which is called a Buildable Land Inventory or BLI).
On December 19, 2019, the City Council voted to accept the Housing Needs Analysis (HNA) and Housing Strategies.
